Not been on this blog for while but I’m moved to tell you about a great shoot today with a lovely bride to be who wants to give their new husband a fantastic gift. We had a great shoot where the outfits were stunning. Three complete changes of lingerie and a white shirt will mean the album will have lots of variety. And to top it off a union jack thong as her husband is an avid football fan! Who could ask for more? The whole session went really smoothly as ‘M’ had prepared well and she looked fabulous with the help of Nina, the talented makeup artist. A fantastic set of pictures and the perfect gift.

Tennille

This picture was one of a series taken at my home studio. Not only is Tennille a very talented model but she is also a make up artist. I like the rather hard lighting style with heavy shadows. This shot is one of a series that will form a portfolio.

Where did April go?

I have to confess that this blog disappeared off my radar due to work and perhaps not being in the swing of blogging. But keen to get back in the saddle I have embarked on a project that has been a joy to work on. I will be able to show some pictures shortly to coincide with a press release by our partners.

In the meantime, this is a shot taken from a recent boudoir shoot using a Venetian mask. I will unmask the fabulous model in the next day or two!

This is the first tentative steps in creating a blog that will spark interest in a new style of photography. A personal portfolio is not a new idea. The Victorians created boudoir style photographs as soon as an image could be shot and preserved but the principal is the same.

The picture in the header says it all. Soft romantic style imagery that fatters the sitter. This lady is a mother of two and wanted to capture a moment when she felt good about herself. She wanted to say I’ve got my figure back and I’m feeling sexy and sensual.
